the phantom of OPERA

I started to bake this Opera since a few years ago. It was a big big hit during Chinese New Year and I always say this is a limited edition cake as only special guests like close family members or good friends will get to taste it.

I usually bake it in a whole cake form but decided to try a individual serve this time round and man, it tastes as good as ever!

It is actually almond sponge sandwiched with chocolate ganache and coffee cream. I like to add a few drop of liquour (rum, kahlua, whisky....) to the chocolate ganache and add an adultry touch to it. It is best served when it is freezed, just like the ice-cream cake!

Your guests will be over the cloud nine if you serve this Opera as the after dinner dessert. Or even better, with a cup of freshly-brewed coffee.

Selling Price: RM 4 each for individual cake (min order of 12 pcs), RM 60 for a whole cake (approx 20cm x 12cm)

Party Pop!

I do like something colourful and fun for a party. For example something like this, the Cookie Pop!

It is chocolate-covered cookie made into a lollipop shape. Different coating options are available, desiccated coconut, colour sprinkles, chocolate rice, & etc.

Arrange it in a vase or tall glass and it will look like a decoration piece for your party and it is edible! I just love the multi purpose of it. Do you?

It can be tied with a small thank you tag as a token that your guest can bring back home, conveniently!

Cookie Monster

Yeap everyone! You will turn into a Cookie Monster when you are greeted with these sweeties!

These is a brown sugar chocolate chips cookies and I purposely cut down the sugar and hence, this is a fairly healthy treats. The sweetness of the chocolate chips were neutral by the not-so-sweet cookie dough. Yummy yummy yummy!

A couple of these cookies, a glass of ice-cold milk, a good book; what other better way to spend a Saturday afternoon alone? Tell me.

Sinful Indulgence

Everyone, Cream Cheese Brownies! These are HEAVENLY. What else can I say?

It is rich, moist, cheesy, chocolate-y. Keep it in fridge overnight and eat it cold; Ohh... pair with a cup of hot coffee! Perfect perfect coffee time snack. Even my mum who isn't a cheese lover loves these.


Bring it for a potluck party or as a festive gifts, everyone will love you to bits!

Well, it is really hard for me to tag a price on each of the cuties here. But this is one of the important factor, isn't it? So let's go!

Choice of cake : vanilla, chocolate, lemon, orange & coffee

Size : 2 inches in diameter

• Cupcake with frosting and simple garnishing : RM 35 per dozen. (Choice of frosting: chocolate ganache, fresh cream, butter cream, sugar frosting)

• Cupcake with Cream Cheese or Peanut Butter frosting and simple garnishing : RM 40 per dozen

Price for each and every cupcake might differ due to different cake, frosting, filling & topping; hence above will serve generally as a guideline. It is best to contact me for a quote.

Something Fragrance

A change for the taste bud from vanilla and chocolate to ...... Lavender! Lavender suddenly came all over the news boards, as lavender teas, lavender shower cream, lavender lotion, a lavender trip to Hokaiddo... and let me present you with a Lavender Cupcake.

I skipped a rich frosting and opt for a simple sugar frosting and topped with some dried lavender bits. Simple and nice, just like summer breeze.

A serve of Lavender cupcake with a sip of Darjeerling Tea, perfect afternoon tea date? Give the dessert table a twist, won't you?

Little Girl in U (Me)

I did not grow up watching the Disney Winnie The Pooh and Friends. I am shy to say I only come across them when I was in secondary school. I am so attached to this sincere yet innocent pooh bear ever since. I got to say these cookies are so of a perfect keepsake.

I am sure not only young toddlers, children, teenagers will drool over these cookies, but adults will too! It brings out the little girl in everyone! It is so wonderful when served during a get-together or a party.

Look at the silly grin on pooh and piglet! Awww.... heart-melting. And wat else?

I made this for a last minute order but managed to keep one for myself; can't help to lick off the rich and creamy chocolates...

Hello all!

I've been avid baker since young and was motivated by my mum's good old baking notes when she attended baking class like 30 years ago?! ( I must take photo of the really old notebook to show here...)

I used to bake a lot for my family and friends but only from recent years that I started to cater for the need of edible favours during occasions like weddings, birthdays, anniversaries & etc.

I've been to weddings or parties which sent me home with nice (or some not-so-nice) non-edible favours, which will sit in my drawer for months before I threw it away. Nonetheless, I will really appreciate a nice packet of chocolate chips cookies or a nice slice of brownies, and happily munch it away. The sumptous taste will linger on my tastebud and I will feel the warm and thankful message from the host. (The pre-packed blunt or sugar-overloaded fruit cake is not included here, :p)

The old saying of "The best way to a man's heart is through his stomach" is never wrong, isn't it?
